Exciting times in the Microsoft Universe!

This past week I attended my seventh Build (haven’t missed one yet!) in Seattle.

Quite a few interesting presenters, including Cirque du Soleil who demoed their HoloLens toolset that allows them to build and test set designs in a much more efficient way – in holographic 3D.

Microsoft Technical Fellow Alex Kipman also presented more of his vision for the Mixed Reality universe. He envisions having devices from across the Mixed Reality spectrum (AR, VR, 2D computer/tablets) all able to talk and collaborate from different remote locations.

On Friday of Build, I got the chance to sit in on a 4 hour Mixed Reality developers workshop. Lots of skills I can put to work in the coming weeks as KSpark kicks into hyperdrive on RemoteSpark!

I’d go into more detail of my time at Build but I’m afraid that would take away from time that could be spent coding.

Until next time, may the developer forces be with you!
