Imagine a technician in a remote location who needs to perform a complex task or repair specialized machinery. In the past, this would mean sending a qualified trainer into the field to provide support. 

The Fredericton-based company Kognitiv Spark is solving this problem by collapsing time and distance with a virtual reality platform called RemoteSpark. 

For manufacturing, virtual reality (VR), augmented reality (AR) and mixed reality (MR) are seen as tools that can make training fun, dangerous tasks safer and corrective action more efficient. But what has especially attracted manufacturers of all sizes to explore extended reality (XR) solutions is the bottom line: They can help save money.

XR manufacturing solutions are becoming a crucial part of the next industrial revolution. These solutions offer companies innovative ways to enhance workplace safety and productivity, unlock new levels of creativity, and minimize waste.
